ÓÚBA: the word-sending-pipe-tube, 2019.

For our solo-exhibition in the Iceland Univerity of the Arts we connected on exhibition space in the school by leading a 160 meter long tube through the hallways, up the stairs, to another exhibtion space. That tube is the ÓÚBA, her purpose is to send words between people. At the opening the guests could chose a word to send over to the next room with the help of the ÓÚBA manual. The person at the other end of the tube could then send a word back. The sending of words continued until the parting word was sent “Doo-da!”
